This is the tentative plan ya..

since haze mao has meeting on Thursday, propose to leave on Thursday evening/late afternoon instead of right after exam. Then we stay a night and come back the following day after (late) lunch? :)

I've checked up some of the backpacker places available. The budget remains around RM15-20 per person. but of course won't be 5-star type rooms lah. I recommend rooms over dorms lah.. about RM5 diff for more privacy, space and personal toilet. :p (not to mention safety!)

Now, siapa tuan punya kereta yang willing to drive down? For now the confirmed(?) people going will be -

8. haze (hopefully no meeting at night!)

no reply from calvin and no confirmation from dennis. 

no matter. we need 2 cars. i can drive. but my car can't go very fast for long distance and neither would it be very comfy sitting 5 for a 2 hour journey. if the passengers don't mind. i'm fine. :) 

-Budget -

Travel (I'm counting it as 0.20 per km. if more, let me know. i recalculate)

RM26 + RM12.4 (toll) = RM64.4 / 5 = RM13 (rounding)

RM13 x 2 (return trip) = RM26 + RM4 (travel within malacca) = RM30

Stay

not more than RM20 per person

Food

RM30 can eat till drop

so total = RM80 per person or less.. 

depending on how much you eat individually.

Now, we need kinda like a vote. Between Malacca and Genting.

Here are some quick facts/guides/whatever you wanna call em --

Genting
Suggest to take public transport up. since only dawg's car is fit to travel up the hill.
- travel from One U got promo now. RM38 for return (bus ans sky train) PLUS themepark PLUS got buffet wah... (it's subject to change thou. not sure if still valid) if not, it's RM8.50 one way.

Other food and entertainment will be slightly steeper (i.e. movie, shows, etc)

if opt to go theme park, suggest that everyone goes together lah, no fun if half go then half don't go.

for over night stay, prolly about 20+ per person, and need to cram a bit lah..

If driving down will be more ex. about RM15 person one way

Staying can range from RM15-RM20+ depending. but mostly no need to cram. backpackers lodges.

Food damn cheap. entertainment affordable (normal movie price lah, or photo taking etc.)

Basically, just eating all the way.
